Happy Birthday Scone Goddess!

If I had known that the first year of my business would include a pandemic with a shut down of everything that we have always taken for granted, I am not sure I would have taken the leap. Running a small business is a labor of love in good times. However, I am so proud of The Scone Goddess and all that was accomplished this year!

We started with fresh baked scones at The United Farmers Market of Maine and Green Tree Coffee and Tea. We have expanded to offer over 40 flavors of fresh scones available for curbside pick up and with select retailers. We offer corporate gifts and we have created over 20 flavors of delicious scone mixes in both regular and gluten free formulas.

The pandemic forced us to really look at how to get our product noticed and recognized for the premium mixes they are. We stopped offering private labeling and concentrated on our brand. We still have so much work ahead of us generating brand recognition, continuing with the professional food photo shoots that were started just prior to the quarantine and getting our brand into many more doors. However, The Scone Goddess now ships to homes across the US!

As we enter our second year, we are on the verge of launching our savory line of scones and scone mixes. We had a trial run recently and they were a sell out! We continue to look for a brick and mortar location in our hometown. The hope is to have a larger space for production as well as a retail bakery!
